ABOUT ABOUT

You are cordially invited to an evening discussion on diversity in sports, featuring soccer stars Abby Wambach and Eni Aluko.

Abby and Eni will give you a first-hand look on their experiences and insights into the sports industry, with a focus on the perception of women, people of color, and LBGT people. The conversation will conclude with an audience Q&A, and will be followed by a reception.

Abby Wambach is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, FIFA World Cup Champion, and the highest all-time international goal scorer for male and female soccer players. She was the United States' leading scorer in the 2007 and 2011 Women's World Cup tournaments and the 2004 and 2012 Olympics. An activist for equality and inclusion, Abby is the author of the New York Times bestseller Forward: A Memoir and of the recently released WOLFPACK: How to Come Together, Unleash Our Power, and Change the Game. She is co-founder of Wolfpack Endeavor, a training program which is revolutionizing leadership development for women in the workplace and beyond through her champion mindset, individualized coaching, and team-bound focus.

Eni Aluko is one of England's leading women soccer players, a striker noted for her pace and finishing, as well as a regular commentator in the media. Eni is a double-FA Women's Cup winner, a three-time Premier/Super League champion, and a top-scorer with her previous club Chelsea. Alongside a successful club career, Eni was a key figure in the London 2012 Team Great Britain squad and the England team, and has played in over 100 internationals. Off the pitch she's a lawyer, having qualified in both the US and UK. She also hit the headlines with her stand against the discrimination, outdated behavior and damaging culture within the England women's coaching industry.
