OPEN Finance will be assisting the LGBTQ Focus Foundation during their Women’s Pride in the Pines event being held on Saturday, June 10th, 2023. This event is the LGBTQ Focus Foundation’s annual LGBTQ fundraiser drawing a crowd from across the country (anticipated attendance of 200+ people). This event provides funds and awareness to support the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning (LGBTQ) community and this year the proceeds will go to benefit the Ali Forney Center. The Ali Forney Center Protects LGBTQ Youth from the harms of homelessness and empowers them with the tools needed to live independently. Please be advised for this event volunteers and attendees are expected to wear white. There are two shifts. See shift options below:
Shift 1 arrival time is 12pm | 12pm – 5pm
Shift 2 arrival time is 3:15pm | 3:15pm – 8pm
Volunteer Roles Include:
- Auction Table Assistants
- Servers for buffet table
- Servers for Hors d ’Oeuvres
Note not all volunteers will need to stay until 8pm. Only 2 will be needed until 8pm, but more are welcomed. The rest can stop volunteering by 5pm. Please pack light as there is not a place to check your belongings.
Volunteers will be reimbursed up to $100 for their transportation cost.
