At a moment of heightened anti-trans and anti-drag rhetoric in the U.S. and globally, BEING BEBE offers positive representation at the intersection of LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and immigrant lives – paralleling BeBe Zahara Benet’s fight to maintain the trajectory of his career alongside a deep connection with his traditional African roots and family.
